Having a mathematical and science school background, Ajay Kumar took up the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in the field of Mechanical Engineering from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) Gwalior MP India.After undergraduate professional degree program in Mechanical Engineering, he, later, studied Engineering Materials. Having been trained as an Engineer and gone through mechanical and materials laboratory research training, he graduated with a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Materials Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal India and working in Advanced Materials Processing Research Institute (AMPRI) CSIR India.The exposure, he received over the past years to understand the advance materials manufacturing system, in general, gave him an insight with a strong practical & analytical perspective to further study the mechanical aspects of the metal matrix composite system. Therefore, after an engineering-based Bachelors, a research based Masters Degrees, he went on to pursue PhD in Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore India. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Washington State University (WSU), Pullman Washington USA for one year. He also worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) USA.
His diligence nature and plenty of experience on the areas of metal composite development and characterisation of materials & processing thrive into new innovations. He has authored more than 30 journals paper and participated more than 40 national and international level conferences. His immense passion on materials science, metallurgy and research triggered him to start a startup named ACPLat IIT Tirupati India. ACPL is fond of serving the researchers with world class elucidations.

Dr. Ajay Kumar is Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore India. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Washington State University (WSU), Pullman Washington USA & College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) USA.
He has authored/co-authored 35 papers in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings and is principal inventor of four Indian patents. He has co-authored four books on Processing and Fabrication of Advanced Materials and Products. He is the winner of Chandran Menon Memorial Award- Applied Research and Technology 2024. He is the Senior Individual Member of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). His diligence, nature and plenty of experience in the areas of metal composite development and characterization of materials & processing thrive into new innovations.
Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh has 15+ years of experience in multidisciplinary technology domains of Materials Science and Nano Technology in the industry, including startups, Academic Administration, R&D, and product-based organizations. He has deep exposure to IoT, Sensors, MedTech, AI/ML, Robotics, and Deep Tech Products. He has a perfect blend of technology, academia, research and business acumen.
Dr. Nagendra Pratap Singh is Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore India and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode. He has vast experience of working with industries and academic institutions such as Eagle Robot Lab, Indus Trust Bengaluru, Jabroyd India Private Limited Bengaluru, Ai Health Highway India Private Limited Bengaluru, Carl Zeiss India, Shilps Sciences Private Limited, Bengaluru, India, National Center for Biological Sciences, TIFR, Bangalore, India, BML Munjal University, Gurgaon, Haryana, India, GE Global Research Centre (JFWTC), Bangalore, India. He has authored/co-authored several papers in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao Tatineni has 39 Years of Foundry Business Experience in processes including Sand, Centrifugal, GDC, Lost Wax, Lost Foam & Replicast with Materials including Irons, Steels and Copper Alloys with hands on experience in new product development. He has developed over 2,000 products from drawing to Delivery with benchmarking performance with respect to Yield, Right First Time, & Speed to Market. He achieved GreenPro & GreenCo certifications for Madras Engineering with benchmarking performance. He has travelled to over 17 countries for Business Development. He is a Certified Lead Auditor for many certifications, including PED, Dale Carnegie trained Leader, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Global Mentor, and CII Certified Green Professional for Carbon Footprint & Resource Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability.
The Auto Composites Private Limited (ACPL) IIT Tirupati Technical Team focuses primarily on high strength, high toughness, reducing the mass of structural systems such as the body and chassis in light-duty vehicles (including passenger cars and light trucks). Mass reduction also enables improved vehicle efficiency regardless of the vehicle size or propulsion system employed. The ACPL mission is to identify technology gaps, establish research and development (R&D) targets, and develop roadmaps for materials and manufacturing technologies aimed at high-volume production of metal matrix composite sheets, structures, blocks, rods, and pipes.
